What a bunch of crumudgeons!
Mar. 30th, 2003 08:45 amI was just out on the terrace to see if anything was going on and sure enough four young guys were already out there setting up a tailgate tent in the parking lot. 8:30 a.m. The Westlemania event isn't until 5 tonight. You gotta admire their initiative, not to mention energy. They had the tunes rocking out of their SUV and they were rocking away while they set up. It was fun.
Then... here comes the parking lot car over and one of the kids went over to talk to the driver. From the way they looked up towards the condos, it was pretty clear the parking lot person told them that someone up here bitched about the noise. They turned off the tunes. Talk about a wet blanket.
I wanted to make a big sign that said "IT WASN'T ME!!!!"
I'll bet it was that crabby bastard at the end of this hall. He's lived here for 10 years and been bitching about noise since he moved in. He even went to the city council once to ask that the fire engines turn off their sirens when they went by. He didn't see the 100 year old fire station when he bought the place??!!! When you buy a condo in the middle of a city, don't you think there might be a bit of noise?
GRRRR
10 minutes later: Now, they've packed up their tent and left. I feel really badly. Poor guys.
