Dinner at Kieran and Alan's last night was both yummy and fun. They are just such good company.

Project organize continues today. The air conditioner is going back into it's cupboard. And the top of that particular cupboard need serious work.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my spam question yesterday. Invitations, new email address and special one-time announcements - good exceptions to the no unsolicited mass email rule. I appreciate your helping me think it out.

Now it's time to get to work.

So... I ran to Home Depot. Gone from this house exactly 22 minutes and the Microsoft tech person called me and left a voice message. Natch.

I could not really understand much of what he said (my answering machine sounds like the order people at the drive through in the old days) but I did get that there would be an email and he left a phone number. No email yet but I left a voice message and asked them to please use my cellphone number.

Oh well.

More tidying to do. Next on tap is collecting all sewing stuff into one place.

Honest. If you tell me something in confidence, or even something that I think might not be share-worthy, I keep it to myself.

Twice in the past 24 hours people have told me things and then said 'please keep this to yourself and don't tell anyone!'. The funny part is that I know absolutely no one - not a single solitary sole (er, ah, soul - thanks [livejournal.com profile] pheon) - who would give a flying fuck about either thing.

But, apparently I give people the impression that I am going to share everything I know with the world. I've been accused of prolific LJizing but even here, really, I don't tell all. Just a lot. Not all.

Seems like if I had spilled the beans in the past, they wouldn't tell me secret shit now. So it makes me even more curious about why people feel compelled to give me extra instruction?
