A free day
Sep. 5th, 2005 08:21 amI half expected the Microsoft expert to call at 7. His email - which I finally got - said he was available from 4:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. I replied that any time after 7 would be fine. I also re-iterated that they should be using my cellphone to contact me. I'd like to get this freakin' printer installed and move on with my life.
I do need to take my little rolling cart and go down to the car and get some Diet Dr. Pepper and some kitty litter that is down there. And I have a little bag of garbage for the dumpster.
There's a high school football thing going on today at the football stadium complete with music thing. They built a band shell kind of deal yesterday. I suspect it could get loud in here today. I hope I didn't pack up the air conditioner too soon. I could need it today for noise cancellation.
I have two more episodes of Six Feet Under to watch on the Netflix DVD's I have in house. Baseball game is at 1. Life is good here and I've very very grateful. (And Betty is just not that comfortable when Roomba is working. I think she feels guilty that she isn't doing her part. Jake is happy to ignore it and snicker at her.)
