This morning I was up and showered and futzing around on the computer when all of sudden my nose started to bleed.  And it didn't stop.  I've had maybe 4 nosebleeds in the past 2 years - all very minor - all stopping nearly immediately.  But this one did not want to.  It took lying down, head back and some time.  I think it's old age.  I don't even remember a nose bleed in the previous 55 years.

Probably it's the beginning of the end.

TiVo got me sucked into the Discovery Channel's Mystery Diagnosis.  Between that and ER and Gray's Anatomy and House, I am constantly on the prowl now for any symptom.  I'm not so much looking for a miracle cure as hints about how the end will arrive.

It appears that the nose bleed itself isn't going to do it. It's stopped now and it will be a while before I'll be comfortable enough to blow my nose but I'm sure it's symptomatic of some undetected genetic thing that should have killed me years ago but for some strange reason (pure thoughts?) has not.

OR it could be that I spend too much time by myself and am not quite busy enough...  Maybe?

I have a meeting at noon.  Phone meeting.

  • I sent off the first of my drug claims this morning.  I have to wait for bills to send the rest.
  • I sent back my latest GameFly game.  This DS Lite thing is sure baffling.  There seems to be so much potential and yet so little capitalization of same.
  • I mailed in my ballot for the March 5 local referendum which is the dumbest thing ever.  The details are too stupid and convoluted.  The mayor of Seattle and the governor of Washington are trying to see who can look the most ridiculous.  And, so far it's  win for both!

And that's what I know so far today.
