Week - aw heck, I've lost count - Cardio

I am nothing but inertia.  Two days of no gym and this morning, I could have easily not gone.  But I got up and went and was very glad I did.  I needed to move and move I did.  30 minutes on the treadmill - no hands. 

The regular crowd was there and it wasn't too crowded.  But there was lots of staff around so I suspect they are ready for the deluge. 

I feel better for having gone.  I sat too much the past few days. 

Now it's shower time!

Never a dull...

Travis is having a morning. He very nearly got squirted early on. We played ferocious fetch so that I could read the paper without his eating it. When I got back from the gym, I turned Roomba loose on the living room and got into the shower. He got onto the tub ledge and promptly fell into the shower. He managed to scramble out but where to go? That thing was in the living room!

I found a cat toy before Roomba got to it and picked it up and put it on the desk. I went to refill my coffee. When I got back Travis was ON POINT on the desk and the cat toy was on top of Roomba.

Hilarity is still ensuing.

Where's Waldo part deux

I went to delivery teddy bears and when I got home, I discovered that Betty had convinced Travis to join her in Junk Nap Land...



I did find out from Scott that the current plan has them working on my deck at the end of next week.  So they might be done before I go to Texas.  OR they might be in the middle of it all.  I've decided not to worry about it.  Travis and Betty sure aren't worrying.  I will be glad to get all that shit back into the cupboards and off that bed.

The hot tub has left the building

Scott, the building manager, told me that the woman on the 3rd floor (or is it 2nd) with the hot tub was not being cooperative about moving her hot tub for the work on the terrace. And, frankly she is a cranky, mean, generally unpleasant person on a good day so I think probably 'not being cooperative' for her is a pretty toxic situation, I don't blame her for being annoyed about having to move the hot tub.

But, it just left. Front Door TV Network had the exclusive video. The tub and then the liner. Wonder if it's coming back.

At least now I know for sure that if I had gotten my Bitch Panties on and carried my protest the the highest court in the condo land, I would have lost. I was glad that I didn't before and now I'm really really glad.
