Somedays that treadmill just walks itself and today was one of those days!  I did do a little elevation work.  I have decided that while it is not likely that I will often need to walk faster or run in my every day life, I will certainly have inclines and hills that need tackling.  So I'm sticking to elevation work on the treadmill.  I'm going to devote at least some time, every session to hill climbing.

Rosie was there today and my second favorite trainer, Nadia.  They are so much fun.   I do love my gym.

But, now I will love a shower, thank you!

We had a conf call meeting on this giant ass project and I learned that the go live date is in two weeks.  (I thought it was 4.)  I learned that the boss thinks we're only a couple of days behind schedule.  (Probably closer to a week or more, actually.)  This weekend will be chock full of billable hours!

I was going to make a run for the grocery store but that's not going to happen.   Maybe Sunday.  Or maybe I'll just go back to the Ho Ho again Saturday night and stop at the Japanese grocery on the way home.  I have supplies.  I'm not going to starve.

I got three twitters about Amazon's site being down.  Minutes after I read them, the twitter site went down.  Coincidence??

I finished reading Michael Tolliver Lives and I miss the characters already.  I first met them in the 70's when Maupin's serialized newspaper stories were put together into Tales of the City.  I read each of the rest of the series as they came out.  Sherry and Lee one time asked me how I came to be such a gay friendly straight person and the answer is Tales of the City.  I had never been to San Francisco.  I had known a couple of gay people but not well.  I had known one transvestite whom I am so ashamed to say I dismissed as a pervert.  Michael and Mona and Brian and Mary Ann and dear dear Mrs. Madrigal all taught me how to make my own way and make my own family.  And how being straight was pretty much a handicap in the world of fun and beauty.

Maupin says he's working on another novel with them to follow MT Lives.  I'll be ready.

Now I have to get back to work.
