Gym Report - cardio

It was hot in the gym and I did not get the fan set right so my 30 minutes were hot but they were still good!  Gradually inclined up to 4 and hung in. 

The gym will be closed on Friday.  And I think it will be too hot to walk outside.  I may try an early morning walk under the viaduct (shade).  Or I may just blow it off.  Slacker slacker slacker.

Now I need to get into the shower and then to work.

My stinky neighborhood

Pound, pound, pound... 

Across the Qwest Field parking lot they are doing something loud.  The sign says "Odor Abatement Project".  I got no idea what stinks or how they are unstinking it but I do know that the unstinking is a very loud endeavor.

The noise is a combo of pile driving and the noise the dentist makes with that fat drill bit he uses to to smooth off the teeth.  The noise is so loud that with the door closed, people I'm talking to on the phone in the living room can hear it!

It's not constant.  And today it's only been once in a while.  Yesterday it was nearly all day.  And those peops are not knocking off at 4 either. 

I'm trying hard not to complain.  I love living downtown.  I do not expect chickadee songs and gentle sounds of the country side.  But I will be oh so happy when they finish whatever it is they are doing.
