Gym Report - exercise

Oh today was very very good.  I was totally into all of it.  And, the new stuff is definitely getting easier.  I can kayack up a storm with ease!!  Well, until you put me in the water, probably.  I need to remember, next time, to bring the notes from Nadia's first session.  Or combine the two.  I remembered some stuff and did that but, oddly, I only remember the easy stuff!

The regular Saturday crowd was there with some extras.  It was actually kind of hopping today. 

Shower time for me.  I need to get to the library and grocery and home before the football crowd arrives for a Seahawks game at 6.

Cause I ain't going out outside again.  It is hot.  The sun is boiling.  My living room is dark and fairly cool and if I don't move, I can almost be comfortable.  I went to the library and then to the grocery store where I got cold stuff.  Iceberg lettuce.  Cooked chilled shrimp.  Other salad stuff. 

I also got 2 cans of apple pie filling (That stuff is expensive!) and two frozen pie crusts.    Nathan at the gym has been bellyachin' at me to make him an apple pie.  I think maybe all old white women spend their days in the kitchen according to his book.  But, never mind.  I have assured him 8 ways to Sunday that his getting an apple pie that I baked were right up there with his getting Tyra Banks in his bed until he was tired of her.  But still he persists.  Well, tomorrow morning he will get his 2 cans and 2 crusts.  The instructions are on the can.  (But, seriously, those 2 cans and the crust came to $10.50.  Can't you buy an apple pie for that?  Already cooked and ready to eat??) Oh well, it's the thought that counts.  Gotta find me a bag and a bow for delivery.

The latest Windows update is downloading to this computer now and that will finish off all my computers for this round of updates.  What a giant pain in the ass they are.  At least with Vista there are many that do not require a reboot. 

The daily Mariner loss begins at noon.  Oh and my announcer returned safe and sound.  Whew.

• 19:17 why is it that every time I flip to one of the Olympic channels, the only thing on is fighing? I do not want to see boxing or wrestling.
