On most days, if I utter a word out loud it's usually STOP! or Get Down or Leave your sister alone. On gym days, I say hi and bye to the front desk person but seriously if 20 words come out of my mouth, it's an unusually chatty day for me.
Today I had to run a training session. 2 hours worth. I talked and talked and talked and talked and pretty soon I was running out of voice... and I looked at the clock and I had only been talking about an hour.
I am not a great trainer and I did a really mediocre job today but I did get a good feeling about the 3 people on my team. I've worked with one of them before and but the other two were unknown quantities. None of them asked any silly or unnecessary questions or even any questions that indicated anything other than they were paying attention and 'got it' as much as anyone could expect given the complexity of the material and the mediocrity of the presenter. I'm really encouraged.
Tonight I bought pizza for dinner. I ordered a togo from across the street (King St. Bar). It was really very mediocre but I ate the whole damn thing. 10" pie. I do not love being fat but I refuse to change my eating habits and so remain fat but really a 10" mediocre pizza? Do I really need to do that? Apparently I do.
Travis and Betty are just loving the new Bolt. Since they don't hear the noise, they are generally surprised when I turn it on and get very exited. I've had it on several times today and they are getting in some good cardio.
Tomorrow is lunch and a chorus concert with
machupicchu. I'll get my walk in getting there and back. Sunday, I'll probably walk up to the market and try Seatown again - run out the last of my gift card - for brunch then home for the baseball game. And there will be TV and bears. Nice.
