This morning's class was at a pull way west and north (Meadowbrook Pool up near Lake City). It wasn't difficult to get to and there was no traffic and it turned out to be well worth the trip.
The pool is not huge but we had it all to ourselves which was excellent. The class had about 30 people in it - including about 5 men. I'm guessing that the youngest participant was maybe 40. Oh wait no, there was one girl who was probably 30 but she had some kind of foot injury so I'm guessing she was just there while she's healing.
One of the ladies told me that the class this morning was about double the usual size. But we had plenty of room. The instructor was no Mantrel (my Tues/Thurs boyfriend) but she was good.
Yesterday and today, I tried the workout with ankle floaties instead of the flotation belt. Much much better.
Without hurrying, I was out and back home by 10. I think this class will probably be my Saturday regular. I need to find a good place to stop for brunch on the way home. I didn't today because I'm meeting
machupicchu at the Cheesecake Factory at 11:30.
There's one deep water class tomorrow. It's in Ballard at 12:45. I haven't decided if I'll go or not.
