Getting it done Friday
Dec. 21st, 2012 11:43 amMy new laptop tray led to my removing the little table that fits into my chair (hmmmm I need to find a place to store that) which led to my recognizing there were more than a few dirty spots on the chair. That led to my digging out the spray upholstery cleaner and giving both the chair and the ottoman a good scrubbing before I went to bed.
I left pulled out the vacuum cleaner to check the battery - yep it needed charging to I left that to charge overnight. And went to bed.
This morning, I finished off the chair and the ottoman (both of which look nicely refreshed, I must say) with the vacuum and then decided to do a load of laundry. While I was putting that away, I was thinking of what I wanted to take to CES and pulled out my work shirt - SPOTS!! oh no! And then I found spots on another shirt I might want to take. So now I am doing another load of laundry to assess the damage and come up with a Plan B, if needed.
And in between stuff, I finished off the Grisham novel before the library yanked it back. And then I noticed that the other book I was ready ha already been yanked. I thought I had borrowed it from Amazon which does not yank but no... the library. My time was up and now I have to go back an wait in line again. Oh well. I have lots to read. The Grisham was a delight. I have not found his recent books to be that good a read but this one sure was. The Racketeer.
I was thinking about going to the movies today. There are two I want to see at the good theater (nice and clean and $6 if I get there before noon) but, I decided against. The kitchen is a mess. And there is Roku to watch. I may just have a Downton Abbey afternoon after I finish my chores.
Guess I'll get crackin' on the kitchen.
