I almost did it ... and still might
Feb. 9th, 2013 01:55 pmI stopped into a Verizon store on my way home from drawing class. I touched a Galaxy Note II and saw the data speed and I was a goner. Their phone price is double Amazon's but Amazon's plan price is $20 a month higher than what Howard at the store will give me. I *think* I can sign up with Amazon and then tweak the plan after the fact but I'm not sure enough to gamble just yet. Meanwhile Howard is working on seeing if he can get me a better price on the phone.
Damn that phone is nice. And damn that data speed is beautiful.
And I still don't need it.
If Howard calls back with a deal, I'll probably fall for it. Otherwise, I'm going to hold off a little while longer... maybe.

Swim class was good and my drawing class was, too. I was not as enthusiastic about going to drawing class this week as I was last. I'd lost the mojo. BUT, I got it back in class so all's good. I'm still on the fence, however, about signing up for more after this class is done. Maybe, maybe not.

Feb. 9th, 2013 08:28 pmI have googled til my fingers bleed and best I can tell, Howard at the Verizon store quoted me a monthly rate that is no longer available. It's $30 a month less than what the Verizon site and all the websites that sell Verizon has. So now I'm thinking I'll go back there tomorrow to sign up and the deal will be gone but I do have it in his handwriting... It would be great to get that plan with the cheaper phone but in the long run, it's way better to pay more for the phone than the plan.
I called the store and he's on duty tomorrow. 10 am tomorrow. You and me, Howard. Be there. I'll bring my Discover Card.
