The pool this morning was packed. There were no lanes with fewer than 3 people. Usually this is ok but today it kind of slowed me down a fair amount. I finally managed to get my 60 laps in with a couple to spare. My music player died, however. The fancy, too expensive one should arrive today. Timing.
Crap crap crap. I noticed this morning that there is a $34 charge from Walgreens pending on my Discovercard. I did not buy anything from Walgreens in the past month. This means, if the charge goes through, that someone's snaked my card again. And I'll have to get a new one, with a new number and a new account set up online - what a fuckin' PIA. I hate this. This will be the 4th time. I can't do anything about it until the charge moves out of pending which could be several days, or, if I get lucky, never.
I think today is going to be redo the desktop PC day. I want to print one thing out and rip one CD before I do it - while stuff still for sure works and then, I'll do the deed. At least I have other computers for using, for research, for getting stuff I might need. It will probably go fine and I'm all stressed about it for nothing.
If there's time left in the day, I might take a little trip up to the Goodwill store and take advantage of the Wednesday senior discount. And empty my Donate To Goodwill bin at the same time. Maybe.
