I wonder if I'm using good judgement going to the pool this morning. The crowds are gathering. It looks like I'll be able to get the car out but getting it back in about 10ish looks like it could be challenging.

I think my plan is going to be to go and then just zen my way back in. If the people and the traffic bar my way, I'll just relax and wait my turn.

My grasp of football playoff schedules is loose but I think if the Seahawks lose today, that is it for this year. And if they win, there is one more game. I can handle it.

The actual games and the traffic is not nearly as bad as the media. The coverage of the fandom is really ridiculous. Anyone who has a camera and a microphone who says the words 'Let's ask what the fans think,' should just be shot on sight. Really.

I need buttwipes for kitties. I need a tiny little canister of tiny buttwipes to put next to the litterbox. Zoey loves to climb up into my bed and settle in with her backside in my face with her asshole mere millimeters from my nose. And, not to be indelicate - well, I guess that ship has sailed already - she has a hygiene issue. Kittywipes would fix it. I'm sure.

Time to suit up and fight my way through the Seahawkians.

The rabble is rising outside. I am glad that it's cold enough to keep the door closed tight. My neighbors (NO photo today, wounds are still fresh) are cooking out and have a few friends over. Looks like fun but they are mostly inside so hard to see.

I've spent most of the afternoon trying to noodle out a side yarn project. I like, these days, to have something going besides the bears. A Between the Bears Project. My first choice is a crochet something. I spent a LOOOOONG time winding through Ravelry patterns. And I stared a couple of things that got abandoned. I've actually abandoned quite a bit recently but heck, why not.

I had a friend once who did woodworking and it always just messed with his brain that I could knit and knit and knit and then rip it all out and knit something entirely different. Once he cut his wood, he was dead in the water.

But, I think I'm on to something now. Crochet and a nice little project - one that is easy to pick up and put down, interesting, useful (an afghan) but not to hot to work on (big squares)... We shall see. We could always rip this out, too!

Swimming was very good especially for a Saturday which tends to get crowded with non swimmers but today they stayed away and I got my whole mile in plus some fun visits with friends. And, my anxiety about getting home before the crowds was totally unfounded. I could have easily gone to brunch or the grocery or anywhere but, with Seahawkians it's way better to be safe than sorry.

Maybe I'll go out to brunch tomorrow.
