Tuesday

There's a guy at the pool. Nice guy. There every single day. I see him working out in the gym as I make my way through to the pool. While I'm swimming, he comes in and swims about 5 laps. Then he walks 2, swims a couple more and gets out. He's military muscled and has the haircut to match. A few months ago, we started the polite 'good morning' nod/wave. Today, for the first time, we met in the elevator back to our cars. His dry/dressed look matches his sweaty gym and toned up swimmer looks. Now I'm totally fascinated. In a I-want-to-know-his-story way. Who is this guy? What does he do when he's not spending his daily 2 hours in the gym? I'm sure I will never know and never stop wondering.

I need to make another batch of breakfast burritos this morning.

My manicure is already chipped. Not horribly but clearly it ain't going to last the 3 weeks that the $30 manicure does. Oh well.

I borrowed a Kindle book from the library and I only have 3 weeks to read it and it's good but I have no time for this kind of reading.

I just read that Patty Duke died. I cannot believe the Parent Trap "cousins are two of a kind" was 69. I was the perfect age for that movie when it came out and I ate it up with a spoon. As I did everything she acted in for years after.

Tomorrow is house cleaner day. But, I think everything is under control as in tidied up enough. Today, there is nothing particular on the docket. Maybe I should work in some reading time!

Productive doll day in spite of baseball

All this new fabric just spurs me on to the next doll and the next...

This doll's dress was a napkin I found on the free shelf in the garage.



Square pants doll was a pillow case (her legs arms and skirt were the pillow case's top hem!) - there is lots of squarepants fabric left.





Plus I made a bunch of doll faces (drawing the mouth on and sewing on eyes) so they are now ready for the next batch. It's easier to batch make faces.

I turned on the ballgame at 1:15 and lo and behold, no game. There's a radio only game at 6:30 tonight instead.

I am very sleepy. I hate naps but I may have to give in. Last night, I was very sleepy at 9:55 so I turned out the lights and put the TV on sleep mode so I could close my eyes and listen to the 10pm news. I woke up briefly about midnight with the TV off and no clue what had been on the news.
