I'm on hold now with Amazon Pharmacy. Very loud very annoying hold music. I'm trying to get them to fix a dumb account issue. It's not critical but it is annoying. They have a drug listed in my account that I do not want and cannot order. I want the drug off my list. And, considering the amount of time I've been on hold while they are trying to fix, it's apparently not an easy fix. Oh well, they will learn from it. Just doing my part.
And, now, after 15 minutes of hold, they come back to tell me, can't be done. Maybe in a month or two but now, can't be done. They are lucky, I did not "stay on the line after your call for a quick survey."
Also the insurance company shows no sign of my expensive inhaler. I'm paying the co-pay price and Humana website shows claims for the other drugs but not the inhaler. Something's hinky somewhere but NFW am I getting on the phone with Humana to try and find out. No Fucking Way.
On to brighter things. The big deal today is the delivery of the Dash Mini Griddle. Very exciting.
And speaking of food, that steak I got yesterday is inspiring. Today's experiment will be using it to create quick and dirty beef straganoff for one. It would be very fun if this works. (Yesterday's mongolian beef was about a 50/50 success - my ginger was not healthy but I will give that another go.) That steak was one heck of a fun deal.
I'm reading John Grisham's latest lawyer novel. It's just like all the rest and I know what's going to happen but I'm enjoying the heck out of it anyway. It's a big fat book (21 hours audio). A comfort read. I listen for about 45 minutes every night and 25 minutes on the treadmill every morning. This will last a while.
And that, apparently, is all the bon mots I got this morning. At least for now.
