4 eggs left
Mar. 13th, 2021 09:18 amYep. No eggs eaten yesterday so, considering tomorrow's trip to Trader Joe's, I'm almost flush with eggs now! Imagine that.
I drove to the pastry pick up place and was there when it opened. Today's haul. Two cookies, two pizza scones and a brownie pecan croissant.

I had the croissant for breakfast when I got home and while it was good, it was not my favorite. Too much chocolate and not enough croissant. Oh well. Next week will be better.
Last night was the first local tv broadcast of the Mariners. It featured my favorite broadcaster and my least favorite. And, during Spring Training games, most innings show the game and then interview some peripheral person so you don't really get any game info. It's boring and annoying. Las night, I finally turned it off.
BUT not before I heard this interesting info... Part of the restrictions of fans in seats is that those fans will not be allowed to bring in a bag of any kind. You can bring in diapers. One, I think, and anything that fits into a 4"x6" clutch. Oh and medical necessities. Wild. Pockets, man. Every single thing will be cashless. It also sounds like maybe they will not sell single tickets. They described 'pods' as being for from 2 to 6 people. So, possibly, if you want to go alone, you have to buy two tickets. I guess I'll learn more next Saturday when they open up the ticket sales.
spacefem posted about the Add Me community this morning. Apparently this community has been around forever behind my back! How the hell did I not know about this??

I added some new friends most of whom have locked journals so I can only hope they add me back. If any popped here to see about me, HI!! And welcome!
The last time I hit the end of a roll of toilet paper (bog roll and why bog? - yet another UK mystery), Biggie picked up a new habit. Toilet paper roll shredding. As the roll wound down, the lost interest and I thought/hoped it was a passing fancy. Wrong. New roll last night. This morning:

Nice.
Today I have several projects planned. I have about 20 minutes left on my current novel and, when I got off the treadmill this morning, I left all the characters in a fair amount of peril. I need to finish it off and make sure the good guys win. I have a couple of other promising books in the queue.
I have my crochet along blanket to do and I want to get this week's bit finished so I can get back to the sweater I started last Thursday. I don't know if it will work out in yarn like I have it in my head but I'm anxious to see.
The Mariner game is on TV again at noon so I'll watch it until it gets annoying and I have a couple of small mending projects to do in the sewing room. I should go for a walk. I might.
Here's the toilet paper artist taking an break from destruction.
