If it's Tuesday...

Today's the day the governor will likely roll us back. Vaccinations are available everywhere now. I think if you stuck your arm out the window, somebody would come by and jab it. The Mariners how offer them at three locations within the ballpark at all games. The Sounders do the same. Twitter is full of 'open slots, no waiting' ...

At least people are still wearing masks. It is rare, and shocking, these days to be out and about and see naked faces.

I'm watching a documentary - Lucy the Human Chimp - on HBO max while I treadmill this week. It's a true story that starts in the 60's with people my age and chimpanzees. It's so familiar in so many ways. The ways we thought, the things we took fore granted, the liberties we had and took. It is, of course, about a world of privileged white people who loved animals but not in the way that people do today. It's fascinating to me.

I think the pandemic has muted Mother's Day. Not having a mother or children, it's always been annoying to get through all the Mother's Day hype. This year, it has not bothered me one bit. Maybe I've matured :)

I'm going to have to manufacture an outing today. Nothing on the list. Maybe I'll just walk around the block.

Now I'm going to pop into the shower. The governor is going to make his announcement in 15 mins and I want to be clean for it. Ha.

So. I came out of the shower to learn that the Governor's announcement wasn't til 11. Ok. so I'll go walk around the block now and get it over with.

But, wait! a notification from the McDonald's app. Do I want a "FREE Caramel Brownie McFlurry, no purchase necessary?" Are you kidding me? Heck to the yeah! So I ordered it up and hopped into the car and at 10:15 in the morning, on a fairly chilly day, I went to McDonalds and got my free fancy ice cream!!!

Krispy Kreme!! So, I picked up a vaccination donut!

And, now I have been out, acquired sustenance and can now take the rest of the day off.

Games... Phone/tablet games... Got any you can recommend?

I need a new game addiction. Whadya got? What do play standing in line? What do you play instead of doing a load of laundry. What do you play in bed at night when you know that even having your phone on before you go to sleep is a bad idea?

Here are my current and mostly very long term gotos that need a rest:

Gin Rummy Pro

Handwrite Sudoku

I like a good match 3 but ONLY if it's one you pay for in total at the start. I don't have patience for these collect coin things or nickel and dime you all the time OR have ads that stop game flow.

Ditto for bubble shooters. I played Bubble Blast 2 for ages but finally got tied of it.

On my tablet in bed while watching baseball or listening to my book, I play old old old games that are no longer available anywhere. I saved their APK's years ago and while they don't work great, I've never found suitable replacements.

My phone and tablet are android but maybe your excellent iphone/ipad app is one i can find for android.

Suggestions?
