Cool down Monday
May. 17th, 2021 09:02 amIt's been warm but we're going to fix that this week. And already it's cloudy out today and 52 (11). The high's this week look to be in the 50's and 60's. The last big cool down, I suspect until Fall. I plan to enjoy.
Yesterday I added a new Rule D'Organization. No boxes - lids or not - that I cannot see through. Saturday, I took all the empty Things That Hold Things and put them in a hamper and stashed them. Yesterday, I pulled that sucker out and organized it! I tossed out the ones with missing lids and the ones that were opaque. I'll probably toss most of the rest. Once we get the terrace storage fixed, I will put a severe limit on how many empty containers live on here. But, for now, I'm feeling good about this house.
I set Robby to clean again. The first cleaning (since I had factory reset it) was to clean and make the map and in the interest of speed, I set it for the least suction which increases its speed. Today, I turned on more suction to pick up the rest of the schmutz but also to test and make sure it is is fixed. I'm sure. It is.
Last night I turned off my audiobook when there was 25 minutes left. I wanted to save the end for the treadmill this morning. It was good to the last drop. One of the best stories I have ever ever read. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I miss the characters already. Really.
Today's big project is to move the giant bags o' stuff from my hallway to Goodwill and also to procure some bread, milk and eggs. And maybe swing by and pick up the donut du jour.
Other than that, just enjoying the cool.
