I woke up this morning so relieved that I didn't have to make that drive to the pool, that I didn't even call for a reservation for tomorrow. I'll go Saturday and Sunday. And then maybe I'll do one day a week - Wednesdays. But making that drive any more days just sucks the joy out of the pool.

Today I might not even get in the car at all.

I've been using my bigger 8" Dash grill every day now and I like it but I don't love it like I do it's little brother. I like having more hot real estate but one of the best things about the little one is that you can close the lid and cook stuff on both sides at once. The big one has too much head room, when you close the lid, to cook on both sides, so stuff takes twice as long. It's fine. No buyers remorse, just wish for a different design. I got a can of corn beef hash and divided it up into servings and have been cooking it with an egg on the big one for breakfast. Nice change.

And speaking of change... I need to swap out the cover on my couch this morning. One spot gets all the action - the corner I sit on all day. I don't want the cover to show that. I have two covers and I swap them out periodically and give the not-in-use one a wash. It's a PIA but I'm hoping it will give me a nice looking couch for much longer. I want to take advantage of one of the last cool days to do the deed. It's a sweaty enough job in the cool.

I have some other household chores on tap but nothing major. I might make another batch of potato salad. The last one was good but there are tweaks I want to make and I still have potatoes. I need hard boiled eggs but I have a shit ton of raw eggs so that's not a problem.

So just this and that and knitting and baseball. A nice day and no sitting in traffic.

After weeks of no biting, Biggie took a chomp this morning. I knew he wanted to and I thought I was distracting him and fending him off but I was wrong.

This time, I did not spray him but looked right at him and said NO in a loud, commanding voice and then repeated it when he tried to come near me. He seemed to get the message and stayed on his side of the couch. Then I put a bolster up so his access to me was more difficult. He breached the barrier once and I told him NO!

For the next 10 mins or so he stayed on his end of the couch and just watched me.

I am sure now that it's a combo of his stress (Robby ran this morning and then I did the whole couch cover swap thing which confused the heck out of him) and his wanting something from me. When I give him my full attention, he seems much less bitey but today, he had my full attention when he chomped. So I don't know what he wants. I'm absolutely positive that unless wildly provoked, he would not bite anyone else. So it's a communication issue between the two of us.

I sent an email to the vet's office. Dr. Lewis there, is the one who said there were things we could try. I'm ready to try. Biggie has turned into the most expensive cat on the planet.

The Diamond Club at T-Mobile Park will be open next week with full services!! Vaccinations only - with proof required. The fancy buffet dinner, drinks and snack served at your seat, special entrance and a safe place to park my mobility scooter.

The email did not say but it kind of looks like they are just picking up the season minus the first 8 games. But only the first two games (the 17th and the 22nd) appear to be done deals. The rest are listed as TBD in the ticket application. My tickets come with parking included so I put the parking for the two games up for sale on Stubhub.

Here is the list of my games for the season.

I have a different seat in a different section (upgrade to both) than I did in previous years. I'm excited to see my new seat. The old seat is the little white square in section 27. The new seat is where the photo of the view is pointing.

Although my first foray back to the ballpark was a fail, this won't be. This will be Back In The Saddle Again!

The vet's recommendation is that first we try drugs. If no work, then we try behaviorist. So that's what we're doing. (Also, the tech told me when I was getting pick up details, "I've seen these things do wonders for cats like him.")

1/2 capsule twice a day. They will text me tomorrow when I can come get 'em.

I'm so relieved and hopeful.
