Early morning victories

Last night I had several stretches of can't seep and during one of those I thought of something I need to buy and thought that I should check Amazon to see if there was a Prime Day deal on it.

This morning, I remembered there was something I wanted to check Amazon for but could not remember what. I left it alone and about 5 minutes later it clicked in. A long handled shower floor scrubber. (Even after scrubbing on my hands and knees last week, when I went to lay down the new stickers, and examined, it looked gross. Clearly there needs to be some in between house cleaner cleanings.) Sure enough, there is such a thing, and there is one on Prime special that has a large number of excellent reviews. Bought.

But an even bigger victory is Biggie. He's eating fine. He's pooping fine and this morning he came in for some serious cuddles. One of the things I thought about last night while I was not sleeping was how much I missed him. This morning, he's actually way more Biggie than lately. We even had a rousing session with Stickie! It's nice to have him back.



Today will not be as hot. This weekend, the forecast says we are all going to die. Much of Seattle still has no air conditioning. There are adorable vintage apartments all over this city that are prized and stay rented always but forbid the installation of air conditioning. Those people live with their nose in the air about their superior real estate except for the relatively few days like these that are horribly hot. Even some of the newer apartment buildings do not have air conditioning and will not allow units to be installed - even temporary ones. It's really ridiculous.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love my air conditioner. I'd marry it and have its babies if it wanted.

Tonight is a Diamond Club night. So nibbles only today to save up my hungry.

I did hear from my sales guy that selling my parking pass is no longer an option. I'm ok with that. It means I don't have to fuck with Ticketmaster OR Stubhub andy more. so YEAH. I traded in my one July afternoon game for an evening one (nfw am I going to sit in that hot bright sun for 9 innings) and picked up 2 extra Diamond Club tickets for free. I'm happy and grateful.

I do need to run up to Amazon to make a return. I could put it off but I think I'll go ahead and get it done and then come back here and be air conditioned until time to leave for the game.

Biggie's already chillin'

After days of ignoring me and staying outside all day and night, Biggie is a different Biggie today. He was outside when it came pill time and I called him in. I love that he came right in even probably guessing the reason. He's not been pill happy the last few days.

Then he hopped up here on the couch and found his banana. xinas_island sent him a couple of these a while back. The first one was destroyed a while back and I only recently pulled out the second one. It's been sitting on the couch unnoticed until today. Today, it got some serious Biggie love.

And now it's back to napping on the end of the couch instead of going outside. I like the new old Biggie. I've missed him.
