texasts. Since I rearranged my seating, my laptop table has been too high. Way too high. This is killing my wrists, arms, shoulders and neck too high. I did not want to raise the chair because the distance between the seat and floor is perfect. A few days ago texasts suggested removing the table's wheels. I liked having the wheels and they worked well on the carpet so I didn't do it.
But, last night, I just couldn't type any more so I turned the table upside down and took the wheels off and replaced them with stick on glid-y things (which, miraculously, did not get culled in the last big sweep) and it's perfect!! It does not move as easily and the glid-y things stick out and look dumb but the extra effort worth it and I just won't look at the floor. Fixed.
Last night, after I was asleep, my wifi went out. For four hours. It was well back on and everything was functional when I woke up but man, did I ever hear about it ... email from my bed, email from my cams, text from my scale, I mean everyone was rushing to be the first to let me know that I had lost connection with the outside world. Nice to know they all care.
Today, there's a baseball game at 11. Also at 11, I have a call from my investment advisor. It's an annual thing that we used to do in person. Sometimes here, sometimes there. There being his office in Mill Creek which is not close but kind of a nice drive with interesting spots for stopping - a great pool, a giant Walmart, a good donut shop, etc. It was kind of an annual trek. But, now it's by phone which is so much better. Especially when I can watch the ballgame during.
Amazon still has not shipped my damn shelves. It's really starting to annoy me. The order page says they will be here by 6 but that's the same place that said they would be here yesterday. This is very unAmazon and I really hope it's a one off.
I need to beauty parlor this morning before I shower. My excellent hair bar is way low for me so when it gets so bad, even I can't stand it, you know it's time to book an appointment. Happily, I can get an appointment any time I want in my own bathroom with me.
And in other MakeMyLifeBetter news, my Wyze robot vacuum just got an update/upgrade and it now does spot cleaning!! So I can send it right to the mouth of the litter box cabinet when needed without having to do the whole room. Or right to the spot where Biggie brought the last bird and get all those leftover feathers. Great feature.
