Too late now, but good
Oct. 30th, 2021 09:34 amYesterday Frank asked me if I had video of Biggie flying off the terrace and I said no but then later I realized that I probably did! At the time I had a cam pointed out on the terrace that I totally forgot about. This morning I checked and that day has been written over already. But honestly, I'm kind of glad. I'm pretty sure I don't want to see it.
I think my supply chain fears - the cat food edition - are over. This morning, I laid out a new food and he scarfed it right up. So now I have a couple of cheap options - grocery store - that he will eat and a couple of expensive options - pet food store - that he will eat so I think I'm good.
Speaking of Biggie, he slept on the couch again. When I came into the living room he crawled into my lap. For about 3 mins and then went to eat breakfast. Now he's napping in the hallway. I think this week is going to be dubbed no-habit week. Every day he's a different cat.
I was thinking about a walk up to Uwjimaya (Japanese grocery in the adjacent neighborhood) and Daiso (Japanese dollar store where everything is $1.50) but the sun is out full blast and I hate the fucking glare so much. I could drive but Saturdays are when all the Japanese come in from the burbs so parking is problematic. BUT I want fruit which would be easier to transport in the car... You know, I might just charge up my scooter and take it out for a ride! I still get the glare but at least I can get as many tangerines and apples as I want without having to worry about carrying them and no parking issues. Ok, settled. scooter is plugged in.
Tomorrow is a home Seahawks game so there will be no going outside at all which is fine. Monday it is back to the vet's and then, that night, a Sounders game (played in the same football stadium across the street). Busy in the hood fer sure.
Real Estate Porn: A unit across the hall from me just went on sale this week. It's been a good while since any of the units in this building have been available. I don't know the people selling but they have done a fabulous job with upgrades. The units on that side of the building have only a full bath. My side all have a bath and a half. I would never give up my half bath which is good cause this unit is tempting! I also think it's priced too low. I'm now dying to see what it will go for. I'm guessing at least $700,000.
