I love my cat

Biggie is all cuddled up here in my lap and draped over my right arm. He's tired after a night/morning of zoomies.

Today's 'walk' will be a trolly ride with a bit of walking on either end. I need more TikiCat treats for you know who. I could order from Amazon but, heck, I could also just walk/ride/walk/ride. And stop in the grocery and pick up an avocado which I want to go with the chicken salad I made last night.

I could also take the car but I don't need much or anything heavy. I have not been on any mass transit since March of 2020. The trolley is never crowded. Especially on weekends. So it will be a good re-entry. And a little exercise.

It's laundry day and I have baking I want to do. Busy Busy Busy.

But, at least I got an avocado and some steps

I walked up the street to the street car. The schedule said it was late and should be there in 4 mins. Then the schedule said the next one would be there in 15. In 20 I gave up, came home and got the car keys.

I stopped at Whole Foods (very near the cat food store) and got OJ and an avocado ready for today and one that will be ready by Monday or Tuesday. Then on to the point of the run. The high end, used-to-be wonderful, fun and friendly pet food store.

The street was closed so no entry into the parking. I found a spot a couple of blocks away - steps! The good news is that they did have Biggie's food toppers/treats. The bad news is that the three staff people with exactly one customer - me - could have cared less. I tried to engage - joking about the road closure and asking for suggestions and I got squat. Turns out there was some emergency that they had to handle on their phones - all three of them.

S'ok. You know what? I can get that shit on Amazon and don't even have to leave my house. And Amazon serves with zero attitude. And, since I'm in Seattle, I'm still shopping local!

So now I'm home. Load two is in the washer and one is in dryer. I'm really leaning towards banana bread. I think I'll whip some up and then have some chicken salad in my avocado.
