So far this morning has been dealing with assorted stuff. My el cheapo cellphone plan (Twigby) for the backup car cellphone turns out to be too expensive after all. This was the one on the Verizon network. Good idea but $20 a month is more than I want to pay for something I will rarely, if ever, use. It was a good idea but... So I used a black friday deal to snag a Tello sim. We'll try that maybe.

Finally, Washington State has gotten its vaccination passport shit kind of together. There's an app that presents your vaccination information - verified by the state. It does not, however, offer any kind of picture ID. WTF? So I used Keep to store a screen shot of the back/front/details of my drivers license and a screen shot of the QR code with details of my vaccinations and put it in a widget on my phone.

I have yet to go anywhere where proof was required but maybe someday and I'll be ready.

It's Wednesday so I need to go somewhere to walk. Goodwill will work. I should compare the number of steps I get doing Costco to those I do doing Goodwill. I'll betcha it's very similar. The parking lot at Goodwill isn't as big but I can use the slot furthest from the door and it's not bad. The building itself it pretty huge and the stuff I mostly like to peruse is way in the back so...

I need a couple of grocery store things but I can get them tomorrow when I go to pick up my turkey dinner.

So today will just be the usual hanging about here. Knitting and watching TV. Today's chore is taking the garbage down to the dumpster and cleaning up the kitchen which is already clean since I did a thorough job after yesterday's cookies.

Biggie is not here in the living room right now. And I can't hear him breaking stuff somewhere else in the house. He ate two breakfasts this morning so I suspect he's back there somewhere in a food coma. But, I'd better go check. And I maybe should get dressed.

I found this exact cat cone at Goodwill, in Biggie's size, for $1. It looks like it's never been worn. I bought it.

You know how when you finally remember to take your umbrella and it ends up not raining?

That's how I think of this collar. Now that I have it at the ready, along with his others, may he never ever ever need one again.
