Sunday

We had a lovely night. I think my bed just resents Biggie. I rarely get as good a rating with him as without but Fitbit is fine about it. I don't care. I love sleeping with him so screw 'em. Last night he was grooming like crazy and I could not tell if he was aimed at the incision or not so I just got up and put a collar on him. He was fine with it and went to sleep. I haven't looked yet today but I will and I will feel far better tomorrow after the vet tech checks him.

He's right now watching me from atop his heating pad in his recliner. What a cat.

I skipped the treadmill today because I didn't wanna. But, that means I need to get off my ass.

Most Sundays lately, I think I should get up and fight the long detour to the pool and get a swim. And I do not. This morning I really should have. No Seahawks game. But just as I would have gotten to it, I saw on twitter that the drawbridge between here and there was up for 40 fucking minutes. I would have not been happy about my choice.

So, I'll walk. Somewhere. I have a new book to start so maybe I'll just head out and walk and listen. It would at least be safer than store walking.

Maybe I'll go and get it over with now. I'm such a lazy ass.

A sure sign of true love?

A while ago Biggie got up from his heated recliner and walked over here to mine and cuddled in my lap. Now, I cannot think of anything more flattering.



For some reason he's not eating nearly as much as he usually does but he is eating some and seems as perky. And I figured out I could see his incision through his pant leg. And it looks better and that mound of swelling really has gone down. I am glad we are going to get checked tomorrow.

I did walk - farther than I was comfortable - at least far enough to assuage my treadmill guilt so I've been able to enjoy my day :)
