The people at the vet's office were so nice. She was nearly gone when we got there. She went without a wimper. It was a pretty hard thing to do. I don't know why I thought it would be easier. She was a great kitty and I miss her.

Jake, her cat brother is now sniffing all over her collar and her blanket and, probably, planning on how how to get all the food without getting his face clawed. He's as huge as she was tiny and so terrified of her that it was funny.

He'll probably settle in nicely to being the only cat. Once he's sure the hisser is gone.

Susan my deepest sympathy over the loss of your beloved pet. You can take comfort in knowing she had a great life and lots of love under your care.

It's kind of interesting to discover how much comfort there is in just writing about it and sharing. I know come dinner time tonight when she's not all over me to open up that can, it's going to be tough. She was a love Thank you.

My last cat, the cat of my childhood, died in 1988. I still miss her. You have my deepest sympathies.
