My neighbor, Ann's husband Ron is a bit of a bore. He starts talking and forgets to stop and his pace is dirt slow. He's really very nice but soooo slow and so dedicated to finishing his thought verbally. People try to steer clear.

People do. Travis does not. Travis loves him and he loves Travis. He will bend down and carry on a long conversation with Travis who will look right into his face the entire time. It's hilarious. If there are four of us out there carrying on a conversation, Travis is wrapped around Ron's leg. The other day I was out in the hall talking to Scott, the building manager and Travis was just inside the door but not wrapping himself around anyone's leg. Ron got out of the elevator and waved hi and went on down the hall to his unit and the next thing I knew, Travis was slyly following him.

They are two peas in a pod.

There is a BIG soccer game (Seattle against Bacelona, Spain) this evening across the street.

I would like to change the PIN number on my ATM card which is really very easy to do but you have to do it in person and the place is over across the lake and too far for a 'nice to' trip. I keep thinking that one of these days work is going to need me at the Microsoft campus for some meeting and I'll do it then - I've been thinking that for two years now, I just realized. I have not had to go to a sit down meeting with people in more than two years. Nice. Very nice.

I will have had this job - working from this living room - 4 years come October. Nice. Very nice.

Meatloaf for dinner. I did it backwards. Usually you have meatloaf for dinner and then a cold meatloaf sandwich the next day. But I needed the sandwich today so I had it and it was delicious. I'll heat it up with some potatoes and gravy tonight for dinner. Is it dinner time yet?

Change your PIN in person? God I haven't seen one of those machines in ages. Do they have you activate your card over the phone because I wonder if that automated system allows PIN changes.

I hope they got rid of it like we did!

Ugh! I thought I worked at a backwards bank. Question for ya, do you want a new PIN or did you forget you PIN? Because if you forgot it they should be able to send you a PIN reminder.

Sorry they are still backasswards.

Well, if you're in doubt, just ask Travis. I'm sure he'll say yes.

One of the things that amazes me the most about your journal is that you spend the vast majority of your time at home alone, and yet you still have so many interesting things to say! Your interactions with other people are far fewer than most people's, but you seem to pack those interactions with keen observations.
