susandennisI spent two hours this morning on a work thing that should have been finished in 30 mins yesterday (I also spetn two hours on it yesterday). I got endlessly looped with a help desk circle jerk. How grateful am I that I am paid by the hour? Oh, really grateful.

Not a whole lot of work otherwise today so I've been doing this and that - surfing here and there just entertaining myself.
I just bought some new silverware. I actually bought a service for four of it at Bed, Bath and Beyond, the other day. But now, having used it for a couple of days, I know it's what I want so I bought another service for 4. I'm not inviting 7 people over. But, I know that if I wait until I need more, they will have gone out of business or discontinued it or something, so I'm now invested in my backup set.
I could have hopped into the car and driven back there and bought it. I would have saved myself $8 in shipping. But, I'm guessing, I would have lost way more than $8 in Target (which is next door) and/or the grocery store plus gas.

I've been making an airplane!! I got the first wing done. I don't like the eyes but I have a plan for better ones. And I think I could have done a better job on the nose. But I think it's going to be quite cute.
