Betty's been here now a month and there is no more hissing at Jake and Jake doesn't automatically move away when she comes in the room. Several times they've actually played paws and found themselves not far from one another. Finally tonight they were so relaxed about it, I was able to snap a shot for evidence:

Going through this right now with Scout (http://www.lehmanndesignonline.com/scout-2.jpg) and Sorcha (http://www.lehmanndesignonline.com/catwithpainting.jpg). The only time Sorcha gets testy with him now is when he tries to approach the food while she's eating. I'm hoping for more, but it's only been a week and a half.
