I like lots of things about the TomTom - like 'em better than the Garmin. But, there are some things that the Garmin does much better. Some are silly little things.

The TomTom has a little light on the bottom to indicate that it is getting juice. If the Garmin works, it is getting juice. If it doesn't, it might be out of juice or it might be dead. Who knows?

You can set the TomTom to go off when it loses power. But you have to turn it on manually every time and the 'on' switch is a PIA. Garmin comes on and goes off with the power. Much nicer.

So, I want a blender. I'd put both a Tomtom and a Garmin in and pour out the perfect GPS.

My new bank's bill pay is fine. My old bank's bill pay is fine. But each have features the other does not. I want to put them both into a blender and pour out the perfect bill pay.

So, where can I order this blender? Oh and I want free shipping. Thanks.

Finding the right POI used to be a pain with the TomTom Navigator software, you had to go all the way through to selecting the destination to find out which one it was. So two Best Buy, one north and the other south, you'd have to select one to find which was the one you wanted. Garmin gives direction and range, did they change that?

Oh, that was me! Sorry, don't know when I became logged out. I did ask them if they had improved the POIs a year or so ago and they said they had not.
