It is beyond official now. Summer is over. There can be no hot here.

I put the air conditioner away. It really worked hard this year. It was full of water. Normally I get a half juice glass. Today I must have drained a quart. And the filters were filthy. But I gave it a blow job and dumped the water out and put it in the closet.

I started keeping track in 2002. The put away days have been:

September 5, 2004
September 4, 2005
September 16, 2006
September 17, 2007
September 20, 2008

Which makes this year the longest summer. So glad to see it's ass.

It must be tundra envy. I guarantee you that I will run my AC at least a little bit every month through December, and may very well have it on in January and February between ice storms.
