Just stuff

susandennisA few weeks ago, I was on the light rail and there was a young woman (maybe 30ish) sitting not too far away from me with the most striking hair cut. It was clearly a carefully thought out cut. It framed her face beautifully and made the most out of her facial features. It was clever and classy and just striking. So I stopped her before she got off and asked her where she had gotten it done. She said Zero Zero. My current plan is to go there on Saturday and get cut.
uh oh... I just saw a worker guy bringing in a giant portable pump on Front Door TV Network. It's the kind of pump you use when a water leak turns into a Situation. Not good.
Last night I inadvertently left my new laptop unplugged. This morning it had, of course, pulled over to the curb with it's Out of Gas flag raised. I wondered what would happened if that happened and now I know... It saves itself. It saved enough battery so that when I plugged it in and turned it on, everything was fine and even my game which I was playing was up and where I left off. Nice. and nice to know.
The other NPR station started their pledge drive this morning. But, happily, I was ready. I flipped to my computer backup plan and picked up an interesting station in New Mexico. Hopefully, this time next week, station #1 will be back.
And that's about it to report so far... Oh, more pumping equipment just got rolled in. I am very grateful that I do not need any of it, I hope. Training session with Nadia at 10:30.
