Rain Rain - wonderful rain...
Oct. 17th, 2009 09:24 amSeattle rain is usually just gray days with mist. Today (and yesterday) we have what I call East Coast rain. Sessions of drizzle, dripping rain are interspersed with sessions of downpours. I can even hear the rain from my bedroom which is a royal treat that happens only maybe once a year.
So, yes, I am still in bed. I've been downloading my casual games and loading them up on this computer and getting them set up to play. I have a nice bunch to pick from now.
One of them did NOT like the 64-bit not one single bit and it took me a bit to figure out the problem. About that time I saw that it slapped an icon on my desktop so I clicked on it. Vista came up and asked me if I wanted it to find a fix. I clicked Give It Your Best Shot and figured I was screwed. And then bingo, it had found a 64-bit version of the game and downloaded it. Works fine. Kewel.
So the Saturday plans have been tweaked a might. I think I'll skip the bus and walk. We have this lovely viaduct that runs nearly the length from here to Pike Place Market which offers beautiful shade in the summer and is a lovely umbrella in the rain. They are planning on tearing it down and I will really miss it. Especially on days like today.
So I'll go check out baskets with lids and then up to Dasio and then up to sushi on a conveyor belt and then probably home. Should be a nice little gym replacement walk with benefits.

Sorry, you've got me fantasizing.
