More pretty than smart...

susandennisBesides just wandering around looking at cheap shit, I had two items I really wanted to procure at Wal-mart. My annual chapstick supply (they always have it cheapest and today was no exception) and kitty litter. I got some shirts, some other stuff and the chapstick.
Wonder if I can convince Betty and Travis to pee into empty tubes of chapstick?
I wanted to get another Dave laptop stand at Ikea and they were on sale! $18. Love that. So I also got bath mats.
All in all a very good trip. That part of the county has always befuddled me directions wise. I always get lost and so frustrated. This was my first time there with GPS and soooooo nice. Although the Tomtom continues to fail in so many ways, it's still better than none at all. I think it's going to a new home when I get the Garmin from the bank.
Today, I punched in Ikea and it gave me one in Virginia. Nice. I fired up my phone, googled the address and plugged that into Tomtom... very not slick. And I still can't figure out how to change in the volume without clicking a bascillion different things.
Everything is now all put away. I think I'll watch the Yankees/Angels game. I want both of them to lose so I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed.
