This, I'm afraid, is going to be a semi-failed experiment. If it were total fail, I'd rip it up. But, instead, it's going to look like a bunny (or bear, maybe) with special needs.
What about turning it into a generic softy-doll? Give it arms and a smiley face. Kids are so imaginative - if it has a happy face, someone will give it a happy personality even if it's not an indentifiable "animal." I thought the same thing when you posted before about animals that hadn't decided what to be.
