Almost 12,000 miles!

I know I'm going to forget to look when I hit the big milestone...

This is the odometer of the now on my 1999 Ford Escort. It's red. And it's very dusty. But, the gas tank is full.

Didn't you post a picture when you rolled over 10,000 as well, like 2 or 3 years go? I put 1000 miles on my car in a month, and you do it in a year.

Oh man, I LOVE this new LJ search engine!! I did not even remember doing it but thot I'd search just in case you had a fabulous memory, which, it turns out, you do!!

Wow - talk about a well-rested vehicle! When I sold my Maxima, I had almost 350,000km on it. My new, '09 Fusion is already well past 12K.

Now I don't feel so stupid about watching mine turn 144,000 last week. My kids think I'm nuts cause I like to see it turn at those big numbers.

Oh you should tell your kids that they have not met nuts until they have met me. I would have rounded the block until it turned 12,000 except I had a hot dinner I had picked up that I didn't want to get cold. I'm an odometer whore.
