Meet my new - old keyboard!
Nov. 14th, 2009 11:52 amBefore I left on my walk, I did a little shopping in my own cupboard and found a cheap old keyboard in fairly good shape. Now, why wasn't I using that? Oh, PS/2 plug. My setup calls for a long road between keyboard and CPU. So my mission changed...
I got to the wonderland of old shit and discovered they had both a male ps/2 to USB connector and a ps/2 male/female extension cord! So I got both. Now I'm using the cheap old keyboard and I remember why I didn't like it. Too small. I may go back and pick up one of their large old IBM keyboards - they have lots for $5 each.
The joint was heated to the max so I did not linger too long but it was great fun as usual.
These are thumbnails. The one on the end is a real 'as is' Sony Beta Max.
It was an excellent adventure.
