Name Game

This company I work for has 52 employees. Three are named Susan and they just hired a Suzanne. Four are named Mike. There were two Coleens but one quit and one got fired. There were three Kennys but two got fired. They just hired a guy named Jody. My boss is a woman named Jodi.

I got no conclusions here.

Years ago I worked on an office of about 40 people, and as I recall at any given time we had anywhere from 2 to 4 Davids.

are Vince, Viet and Venu. I know Venu doesn't quite fit.

It's funny you should mention that because one Ken that they fired was one of the founders and the other Ken was a developer and they both got canned about 3 weeks after the third Ken (the one next to me) joined.

When he found out he sidled up to me one day and really really shyly asked 'Is there a problem with Ken's here?' I cracked up and told him that he was now the highest ranking Ken - a title he clutches to this day.
