I always follow instructions
May. 26th, 2003 10:34 amI got it. A lovely cordless, lightweight, sweeper. But, alas, the instructions say that I have to charge it up for 16-20 hours before I can use it. So, no matter how much I desperately want to clean today, I cannot. Sigh. I'm hoping this baby will also be a broom for the kitchen and bathrooms. But, I won't know for sure for 16-20 hours.

Date: 2003-05-26 01:31 pm (UTC)I asked if it was an infomercial, and of course it was. She informed me that the Shark Cordless Sweeper is capable of picking up nuts - the metal kind - and you never ever have to change a bag. Also that it costs around $99 "plus Shipping and Handling, of course." And also that we really really need one.
So, when your 16-20 hours are up, you should be well-equipped to handle any household breakage or dry spillage emergency. That got me wondering about "The Walrus and the Carpenter." If seven maids with seven Shark Cordless Sweepers swept up for half a year...
Maybe next time you go someplace with sand you could take it along and post a report.
