Sweet Sucking Sweeper
May. 27th, 2003 04:23 pmIt's a winner! All I wanted was something light, with no cord, that would work on the rugs (which the Hoover just sucks up into itself) and the carpet and picks up cat hair and kitty litter. And this baby does all of that.
It's not terribly happy when it hits the fringe of the rugs. And I have a telephone cord that snakes around one wall. That cord has quite a story to tell about being eaten by the jaws of the new sucker. But, when I turned it off and rolled the roller backward it happily spit the cord out.
And the cats think it is a real vacuum. They ran and hid just like they were supposed to the minute I turned it on. I'm quite delighted with the purchase.
The booklet suggested that you run it all they way down and recharge from scratch a couple of times so it's running down now and loudly. I think it's going to finish its running down in the far part of the house.
Sorry if you missed the show,
spiritgirl, it was a quickie...
