Busy busy busy... but, it's ok. I don't have time to do an LJ entry but, dammit, I'm going to make time. I've got nothing really to say but it's not like that has ever stood in my way before and it's sure not going to now.

Our comptroller stopped by my desk this morning to show me her new shoes. I was really busy so I looked, I liked and while we were talking, I fired up zappos.com and ordered a pair. Since I have ordered from them a bunch, ordering the shoes today involved about 3 clicks. It would have taken 2 but I changed my mind on color.

Sue is not terribly internet saavy. She's not a luddite, just not too adventurous. She was amazed by my actions and then really pissed because zappos had them $20 cheaper than what she paid. The shoes are just exactly what I've been looking for. I designated her my Official Shoe Tester.

Then I went back to work.

I have a peanut butter and mayo sandwich for lunch today and a banana to slice up and put in the middle. Oh and chips. This is information is so that no one will have to wonder or shower meme me (doncha love that new verb phrase me) on how I got so fat.

Now I need to get back to work.

OH! Please! I need everyone to think No Rain in Philadelphia from 7 -10/10:30ish EDT tonight. I need my baseball game and the Phillies have no roof which is just silly if you ask me. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Humph. The Vet is, at least, not a new stadium (that's next year). In Pittsburgh, they do have a new stadium, but they also don't have a roof. so the Sox didn't get to play at all last night. Then again, the way they've been going, that may be just as well. Then again, it means they have to play two games tonight. If it doesn't rain again in Pittsburgh.

Really - no rain in Philly tonight!! That was an excellent game yesterday - I expect no less from Mr. Meche tonight!! :)

Ha! I just checked the bag and sure enough it says 'chips' but then I doubt it's ever been across the pond...

When we were little Mom used to make these pie crust cinnimon things that we called cinnimon crisps.

So we're covered on the crisp/chips front... That's why we have fries. ha!

Ohhh interesting thought. I only put the banana into the sandwich. Generally I like my potato chip sandwiches with just mayo and chips only... but you raise an interesting alternative...

Thanks for the dance. I wonder why those stupid teams without roofs don't put some sort of prognosticator on their website...

I love mayo but together with peanut butter, I can't imagine. No thanks. It is only supposed to drizzle tonight. You'll just beat the hell out of us again anyway ;(
