Cranky pants

susandennisI do have on my cranky pants today. I'm not sure why and I'm trying to fight it but I'm losing.
We have a move-in on the Front Door TV Network ... The move-in-ee has a lot of cases like this one.
I'm thinking he's either a photographer or an assassin.
And a lot of really not very interesting furniture but one giant huge bed. In my way sordid past, I dated a guy very briefly who was 6'10" and he had this bed that was huge. It took like a day or two to get to the middle of it. I was smaller then but still... The bed they just brought in looked that big.
I have no Saturday adventure planned for tomorrow and can't really think of one that interests me. Might be better if I just kept my cranky self home and out of the way of the world.
On the up side, yesterday I had the giant eye itch. Today it is gone. One nice thing about the Tranquileyes sleep thing I've been using is that it has little foam inserts to keep your eyes closed. Last night, I popped those puppies into the freezer about a hour before bedtime and when I finally shut my itchy eyes, the cool felt wonderful. And today I am cured.
Travis has the clingy today. He is fast asleep draped across both my arms as I type this. I've moved him twice and he just keeps coming back. I think he has on his needy pants today.
Scott, the building manger, takes in all our packages from all the delivery services and puts them into the giant Rubber Maid closet down in the garage. The closet has a combination lock on it. Then he posts a sign with the unit numbers of people who have packages in the closet. Everyone (residents and the delivery services) knows the combination of the lock. Except for one Fed Ex guy last week. He just ripped the lock, and the lock brackets right off the door and also broke the door. Bet he wished he'd known the camera aimed at that closet is one that is set to record. Scott has the video that shows him clearly - face, uniform, et al. just ripping the bejesus out of it.
Our new closet - paid for, delivered, set up with removal of old broken one - paid for by FedEx should be here soon.
I need to do the oven self cleaning thing but Chef Tom is coming next Thursday so I think I'll wait until after the's here and gone. I just want to make sure I do it when it's cool enough that having the hot oven on is not horrible and yet warm enough to open the doors to the outside if the stink gets too bad.
Spring training starts in a couple of weeks and the first Spring Training game is less than a month away. I hate Summer because of the unrelenting sun and the heat but baseball helps so much.
