If you have Comedy Central as one of your channel choices and you do not watch Jon Stewart, you are just flat cheating yourself. And you should stop it.

For the uninitiated, it's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It's on, I think, at 11 p.m. most places but it's rerun during the day a lot.

Last night he had on Madelaine Albright and it was a great interview. He also covered Sammy and Martha with a flare totally lacking in other media.

Watch him. Record him and skip through the parts that you don't like but watch him. Really. I mean it.

sometimes I love his stuff but a lot of the time he holds back too much, doesn't really get into it. I'm looking for more guts.I've been disappointed, in other words.

Have I told you my "I sat next to Jon Stewart in psych class in college" stories yet?

Actually, that's pretty much the entire story. His surname was different then, and he never said a word in class. Not a word. When he attended. But I sat next to him!

NO!!! Oohmygod! You mean to tell me that my Mom is right now watching a Tivo that once belonged to a guy who sat next to Jon Stewart, in the flesh, before he was Jon Stewart??????? ohmygod.

nope... never told me the story...

btw, my m=Mom has stopped watching tv. she now only Tivos. and she started signing her email Tivo Tess. Now she just goes with Tess.
