Happy Valentine's Day to ME!!!

My brother sent me a Happy Valentine's Box of impossible-to-get-here delights! Well, the Graham crackers are impossible to find here. We have honey grahams and all kinds of variations but the originals are a no show here in Seattle. Now I have THREE boxes!!

And a big vat of home made pimento cheese. If you know where to go, you actually can find pimento cheese in Seattle but it is sucky pimento cheese. This is Delicious pimento cheese that he made just for me. Perfect. I am going to have to have an early lunch today. Yum!!

I just might!! But, probably not. :)

My favorite cereal in all the world is broken up graham crackers covered in cold milk. The kind we get here are just too sweet. These are perfect. I'm going to have to have that today - maybe for lunch... with a side of pimento cheese sandwich.

I make pimento cheese homemade if I am craving it in my magic bullet. You can still get it in those little jars that we used for juice glasses but it tastes funny.

oh yeah, that stuff is weird (but I am fond of their 'RokaBlue') - but at the Safeway on Ranier (at Genessee), they sometimes have pimento cheese in the cold foods section that is not nearly as good as my brothers but better than the juice glass stuff.

And one time I found some at the Apple market in the Central District. Still not as good as bro's.

I am really surprised that you can't get original Grahams in Seattle. (Of course, for all I know, we can't get them here either -- it's a long time since I've tried.)

i know, isn't it strange? Every couple of years I check again all over town and no joy. I've always wondered why. And still don't know. A friend sent me a huge batch from Atlanta several years ago and, clearly, they have them in Texas.
