Here's the thing. I can't really get comfortable with asking someone to interview me and then what if someone asks me and I can't think of any questions? It's becoming more stressful than ignoring the Friday Five.

So, here's my own version. You got a question? You want to me to answer something? Ask. Any time, any where. Seriously. I'll answer. And, here's the kicker... even if you don't have a question, I still have answers.

Now, I need to quit screwing around and rebuild all those stupid web pages. I want to get them done before I split today. Or at least close to done. So there will be no more entries from me today until I am out of here. Sorry. If I suffer, so must you.

You know, Susan, I'm the same exact damn way. I love reading these interviews, but I don't feel compelled to play. (Even if I have made up questions for people who've asked me.)

Remember that meme a few months ago of "Ask me any question and I will answer honestly for 24 hours"? of which the interview meme is a variation? Well, my response is the same. Ask me any question, or any number of questions--5, 10, whatever--and I'll answer them honestly. Anytime. This is an open-ended offer that will never expire.

...and then what if someone asks me and I can't think of any questions?

i do sorta see where you're coming from, yet this doesn't seem to stress me out the same way. i have no idea what to ask anybody, so i have never offered questions to anyone. similarly, i only ask people for questions if they have specifically said in their posts that they are available and willing to do so.

the way i see it, if you never offer to provide the questions, there is no moral imperative to do it. if anyone asks, just say "sorry, i can't think of any" or something... no biggie ;)

OK, from one clever person to another. A really stoopid, perhaps even vapid question:

If you were an animal--but not a cat or dog or human--what would you be . And why?

How's that for banal?
