susandennisWhile I was on the elliptical machine, CNN was on the TV and they were covering a plane crash 'north of Austin, Texas'. I plugged in for sound but they didn't know shit about it and were, nonetheless, talking about what they didn't know over and over and over again. So I unplugged and went back to my audiobook.
I kind of kept and eye on it and soon they showed a map of where it was and the only town on the map was Georgetown which is the town of my brother's shop!!!
I found out later from him that his wife and step-son (both of whom work in the biz) got stuck in the madness while on their way to some kind of training session just across the street from the building that got hit. They did, apparently, get into their session finally and Joseph sent pix of it from his phone. Wild.

I've been quite productive so far today... I wrote Nadia a letter of recommendation to law school and mailed it. I cleaned up the kitchen and I split my pills. I have two pills that I take half of every day. I'm in such denial about all things medical and pill splitting just annoys me so I put it off until I run out. Which I did this morning. Now I have 3 months before I have to do it again.

I need cat food and diet Dr. Pepper so I think a short venture out is due this afternoon...
