susandennisI was in and out of Ikea with exactly what was only short list - in 17 minutes!! And I spent less than $20. 1 brushed metal hook, 2 wash cloths, 20 piece set of silverware. Not too fucking bad.
Then on to Walmart where I the same in speed and budget. All cats have food. And I got Popeye's for lunch.
Then home to unpackage. I installed the hook in the bathroom exactly where I wanted it. It replaced a beautiful white on white ceramic earing holder I got at the Pike Place Market the first weekend I moved here. I love the thing but don't wear earrings and need a place to hang my washcloth.
Then neighbor Ann came down with a wonderful 'gift'. She discovered that my neighbor's smell and smoke that is interfering with the enjoyment of my condo is not only against the condo rules but is on the front page! He can be fined if he does not stop. I am so jazzed. I have the exact wording and next steps - official complaint to the board citing the rule. Sweet!!!
And she thought her daughter in law would LOVE my earring holder so instead of the Goodwill, it's going to Amy.
I skipped the gym today but I am still going to do my steps. I think, as punishment for slacking, I'll do all four flights. I have one work thing that just came in and then I'll go do steps and then I'm going to put my feet up and relax.
