Betty's First Day

Betty turns out to be an amazing kitty. She took no time in acclimating herself to out house. She's still not quite sure about Jake and he's not at all sure about her, but they will figure it out. She's found a couple of favorite spots but has also been pretty busy exploring around. And, she's not too shy. My neighbors (and cat sitters) from downstairs came up to meet her last night. The three of us sat on the floor and she came right out to meet them. She showed off her purring and her love of being stroked. They gave her the thumbs up.

She found the food and the litter box straight away. She crawled up into bed with me last night even though Jake was already there. He generally commandeers the bottom of the bed (and keeps my feet warm) and she snuggled up under my armpit. Quite a wonderful way to go to sleep.

Betty's a cute kitty. Interesting coloring, with light and dark patches of fur.

Thanks, she is sweet. I was combing her last night and under the light in the bedroom, she has a lot of really red hair, too.

Betty! What a beautiful kitty! Am glad for you AND for Betty.

She has very similar coloration as our Ming but your Betty has long hair where Mings is short. I will try to post a pic soon so you can see.

Life is sooo much better with CATS, eh?
