Aways a Good Hair Day

I did it. I bought a wig. I bought a wig that pretty much looks like my hair but without the bald spot, without the thinning on top and with a little more life to it.





It's pretty comfortable. I can see getting so used to it that I would forget it was there. The idea is to have hair that doesn't look like crap and takes 0 maintenance. I think I'm there. We'll give it a try anyway.

Thanks, but now... see... I think you have great hair. Granted I can only it in photos but it looks so full and nice. But, if you hate it, then, yeah, wig may be the way to go. This one does not look like a wig to me. I'll be interested to see if anyone says anything. There are a couple of people at work who will have no compunction at all to say 'are you wearing a wig??!!' if they think I am. Not that it will make a difference to me. If it looks good and feels good, I'm happy with it.

Wow! It looks so natural (from the pics)...and so convenient. Any fear of it coming loose? Was it like major expensive?

I'm late thirties (37 next month) and my hair is graying...fast. The culprits are ages 9, 7 and the 3 year-old is causing me a total gray streak just from today. It's either or wig or L'oreal real soon!

Nope, it's not lose - it's not coming off. It was a lot more expensive than I intended - $80 - and I had about $40 in mind. But, if it works out like I intend, wearing it every day and never wearing my own hair again... I'll make it up in hair dye and hair cuts in about 6 months. Then I'll get a second one - maybe curlier for when I'm feeling frisky!

Thanks! Actually, there are pieces of my hair sticking out but in order for me to figure out which is which, I have to pull on it.
